Texas Runs on Water

Who are they?

Texas Runs on Water is a statewide campaign designed to raise awareness about the critical role of water in sustaining Texas' diverse ecosystems, thriving communities, and robust economy.

 

Drawing inspiration from the success of the "Don't Mess with Texas" anti-littering campaign, Texas Runs on Water adopts a flexible approach that can be tailored to specific communities or regions while maintaining a cohesive statewide message. The campaign's core message is that everything Texans love about their state is rooted in water, from agriculture and industry to recreational activities like fishing and boating.

 

By fostering a sense of pride and responsibility among Texans regarding their water resources, the Texas Runs on Water campaign aims to create a lasting impact on water conservation efforts throughout the Lone Star State.

The problem:
Texas Runs on Water's social media goal is aimed at reaching a wide audience of differing perspectives while maintaining a fun, balanced, and politically neutral tone. 

Results
In order to reach the variety of individuals that Texas Runs on Water hopes to capture, we implemented content pillars that included educational, informative and trending content, as a result, we saw: 

  • 2,699.2% increase in impressions

  • 282.7% increase in engagement

  • 10,504.6% increase in link clicks
